Green Energy System
EPRC’s Green Energy initiatives tackles Bangladesh’s pressing energy and environmental challenges by advancing clean, renewable, and sustainable energy solutions—especially in underserved rural and peri-urban communities. Working alongside partner organizations and national and international experts, EPRC has implemented a range of innovative energy initiatives, including solar-powered pipeline water supply systems & alternative safe drinking water systems (PSF, AIRP, RO), solar home system, improved cooking stoves (ICS), and biogas plants in rural, urban and climate-vulnerable remote areas. By leveraging the country’s strong solar potential and biogas resources, EPRC works to overcome barriers related to cost, accessibility, and technical capacity.
